Cox's Bazar vaccine to combat rabies requires 8,000 dogs

A five-day mass vaccination program—to inoculate nearly 8,000 dogs—to avoid rabies will begin tomorrow, said Dr. Mohiuddin Mohammad Alamgir, an involved civilian surgeon at Cox's Bazar.

The service will continue until the 4th of February, Dr Mohiuddin told reporters this morning at Cox's Bazar Sadar Upazila Health Office.
A total of 44 units will enforce the vaccination program in Cox's Bazar Municipality and 10 unions under the Sadar Upazila, he said.
